Why is there a ‘magic lamp’ in the logo?
In various cultures (like Ancient Egypt, Greece and India) Lamps symbolically refer to knowledge, or higher education. This Lamp is also called “The Lamp of Knowledge“, also known as “the Lamp of Learning” or “the Torch of Knowledge”. The Light from the Lamp can also symbolize the process of discovery and exploration, as it allows us to see and understand new things.

The choice for this type of oil-lamp – that is often used in magical fairy tales as well, is not by coincidence. I do believe in ‘mystical’ things and ‘a touch of magic’.
